BHM

Greetings Mighty Red Birds!

The third quarter is underway! We wanted to take a moment to celebrate the dedication and hard work of our amazing teachers who have been actively engaged in Math, Reading, and Science data dialogues. These discussions are not only an opportunity to reflect on instructional practices, but also to celebrate the wonderful progress our students have made so far and determine the best next steps for their continued growth. As we focus on academic growth, let's also continue to prioritize health and well-being. Let's remember the importance of good hygiene habits, such as washing hands regularly, looking out for one another's well-being, and staying home when sick. Together, we create a healthy and caring environment where every Mighty Red Bird can thrive!

Warm Regards,
Ms. Drake, Mr. Hirsch, Ms. Long

Counseling

School Counseling Week

February 5-9 is National School Counseling Week, and highlights the tremendous impact school counselors have in helping students achieve academic success and planning for a career. School counselors work with students in a variety of different capacities, whether it is through classroom lessons, group sessions, or individual counseling. We are fortunate to have two AMAZING counselors- Ms. Bruck and Ms. Gannon!  Learn more about the role of school counselors in FCPS.
