Celebrating 100th Day of School

kids celebrating 100 day

In Ms. Barranco's first  grade class, we were busy bees on this 100th day of school!  We made 100 sticker headbands, did 100 exercises , wrote 100 words, solved 100 math problems, and more. Can’t wait to see what the next 78 days with these learners brings!

The vision of Herndon Elementary School is to provide students with a safe, nurturing learning environment where all students will work to their full potential.

The mission of Herndon Elementary is to develop children to their full potential by ensuring a high level of success for all students. Teachers will work to differentiate instruction, provide a safe environment, and develop goals with students. Parents and teachers will work together as a community to prepare students to become productive citizens.

Our vision for the 2023-2024 school year is…

  • We will know all of our bees as scholars and as humans.
  • As a staff, we are a team and collectively responsible for all of our bees.
  • We will bring joy to our Bees' lives everyday and celebrate their successes throughout the school year.
  • All members of our Hive will know that belong here.
