Service Learning Projects Brighten Spirits

Second and third graders finished second quarter by thinking of others! The second graders worked with Mrs. Mizell during their art classes to create snowman centerpieces, which were placed on dining tables at the Residence at Covin Run. Third graders worked with their teachers to create snowflakes out of pipe cleaners and beads. A card and ribbon were attached to each snowflake.  The snowflakes were given to each resident at the Residence at Covin Run to hang in their room.

The staff at the Residence at Colvin Run were excited to receive the projects and the residences LOVE them. The projects will surely brighten the spirits of the residents. Thanks for being great Global and Ethical Citizens, Roadrunners!
