Hayfield Secondary School is introducing the Hayfield Secondary Athletic Hall of Fame. A Hall of Fame committee has been selected and the 1st Hall of Fame Class will be inducted during the Fall of 2024.

Winter Track - The Boys team won the District Championship on FRIDAY!!!! The Girls had a great showing and finished 4th.
Winter Cheer performs at all Home Varsity Games. It is great to have Winter Cheer back.
Swim/Dive competed in districts last weekend. The students below placed at districts:
Evan Chesnut 2nd place in the 500
Evan Chesnut 8th place in the 200
Robby Yakes 4th place in the 200
Scott Kemper 7th place in the IM
Will Townes-5th in Dive
Robby Yakes-5th in Fly
Scott Kemper 8th in 500
Moira Irvin 5th in Breast
Boys Basketball dominated Edison again to move to 12-0 in the district and clinch the 1 seed in the district tournament.
Girls Basketball is currently 10-2 in the district. They helped organize the Hayfield Hoop for Hope to help bring awareness to Breast Cancer.
Dance competed at Colgan on 1/27. They finished 5th for Pom, 2nd in Jazz, 1st in Officers, and 1st in Hip Hop!!!!
Gymnastics finished 3rd at districts this week - CONGRATS ladies!!!
Wrestling had a great showing at districts. Ethan Osburn won the 190 lb district championship!!!! The Hawks are sending 10 wrestlers to Regionals this week.

Congratulations to our Middle and High School Band students for their participation in the VBODA District X Honor Bands this past weekend. The students participated in a concert Saturday afternoon with 200+ other band students from our district. Additionally, we have ten high school students eligible for the All-Virginia Band auditions in two weeks. Congratulations, Hawks!

Hayfield Secondary 3rd Annual Craft Fair - Saturday, March 16th
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!! Both Parents and Students!!
The 2024 Hayfield Secondary Craft Fair & Silent Auction is being coordinated through the Class of 2024 All Night Graduation Party (ANGP) Committee. Along with being sponsored by our PTSA, the ANGP is a state of Virginia & Fairfax County Public Schools supported event. The ANGP committee’s purpose is to provide our Class of 2024 graduates with an all-night, SAFE, alcohol/drug/smoke-free celebration at The St. James center in Springfield, VA. Along with many other fundraising activities, this is one of our biggest events and all proceeds we receive will go a long way in helping reduce the ticket cost for our graduates and their families.

ANGP - All Night Grad Party - is seeking donations for our silent auction at the Craft Fair on March 16, 2024.
We’re seeking gift certificates for food, services, and other purchases; passes to events or activities (i.e., rounds of golf, sporting events, amusements, etc.); merchandise or gift baskets; and anything else you can think of that people would like to bid on and win. We also welcome cash donations in lieu of a donation to the auction.
