A Busy Week at Chantilly Academy!

We finished the first semester strong this week with a lot of exciting activities throughout the Academy.  The week started with a Carpentry field trip to The Tailored Closet and Premier Garage in Chantilly where are Carpentry 2 students were able to hear from two Chantilly Academy alum, Dylan Orr and Mitchell Rickard, about their journey from Chantilly Academy’s carpentry class to a career in the industry.  Our Cosmetology 2 students also had the opportunity to connect with a Chantilly Academy alum, Mayra Macias of Alya Salon, who did a makeup demonstration.  Cosmetology 2 students also participated in a workshop Wednesday evening with guest artist Gregory White of Hair Cuttery, where they practiced balayage on models.  The week ended with one of our Air Force JROTC’s biggest events of the year, Dining Out.  AFJROTC Cadets, joined by their families and friends, were recognized for their achievements so far this year.  It was a wonderful evening of celebration and tradition for our Cadets!
