Parents/Guardians are invited to our first virtual Seahawk Talk for the school year. Our first discussion will focus on Safety and Security. You will hear from our Security Training Specialist from the Office of Safety and Security. Please use this link to join us on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
Silverbrook Spelling Bee
Our students have taken on the Spelling Bee by “swarm”. Round 2 of our Bee is scheduled for February 5 during students' specials. Round 2 is closed to the community, but mark your calendar for February 12th at 6:00 pm when we have our Schoolwide Spelling Bee Competition. We are so proud of our students!

Valentine’s Day
Valentine's Day is a beloved day at Silverbrook. We are asking that parents follow these guidelines for the class celebration.
- Please contact your child’s teacher to check on types of allergies before purchasing snacks.
- Parties are limited to 1.5 hours.
- Parent participation at the party will be between 2-4 parents. This is based on teachers’ discretion. Please make childcare arrangements for siblings.
- We cannot have balloons of any kind (no bouquets, arches, or single balloons).
Room parents will have access to decorate the classroom door on Tuesday, February 13th after dismissal.
Club and Candid
Picture Day Reminder
Just a reminder that January 30th is Silverbrook’s Club and Candid Picture Day. Please remind your children to listen for their specific clubs and/or groups when they are announced. Also, all patrols need to remember to bring and wear their belts. Patrols without belts will not be photographed. Remember, Club and Candid Picture Day happens only one time during the school year.
