Mark Your Calendars for Another Book Fair!!!

The Bookworm Central Bookfair is coming February 8th - 9th for students during school hours!

Students will have the opportunity to visit the fair to make a wish list on either Tuesday, February 6th or Wednesday, February 7th during school hours with their class. Additionally, we will be holding a family night in conjunction with PTA STEM night on Friday,  February 9th from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. If you are unable to make it to the family night, your child can purchase during their class’s assigned time.

Your support of the school library program is greatly appreciated! Books can be purchased using cash, check (made out to Clermont Elementary), or through an eWallet (this is DIFFERENT than Scholastic’s eWallet). For more information on the cashless option, eWallet, please visit the Bookworm website. Proceeds from the book fair support the improvement of the library collection and program.

If you have any questions, please contact our librarian Mrs. Cangro at kncangro@fcps.edu

Book Fair Volunteers Needed

An image with a red background and a megaphone says "Book Fair Volunteers needed!"

Clermont Elementary's Bookworm Central Book Fair will be held in person from February 6th - 9th. Help is needed in preparing for the fair and throughout the week it is open. Please consider volunteering your time by helping to advertise, decorate, set up, work at the fair during school hours, work after school during our late night (before PTA STEM night), and help to pack up.

Please feel free to sign up to volunteer for an hour, a couple of hours, or for the entire week. Whatever works for you! The book fair is a lot of fun and is one of our most popular volunteer opportunities. We appreciate your time and efforts. We look forward to working with you!

PTA Silent Auction

An image with a Mardi Gras mask advertises the 2024 PTA Silent Auction.

The greeting for Mardi Gras in French translates to "let the good times roll"! And that is just what we want to do. After a successful return last year, the Clermont Elementary PTA Silent Auction will return in 2024!!!! The event will be held at the beautiful ALX atrium in Alexandria (on the corner of Washington and Duke Streets) on Saturday March 9th at 6:00pm! There will be a live band (Diplomatic Immunity), plenty of delicious food and great drinks. The PTA Silent Auction is one of our largest fundraising events of the year.  It allows the PTA to sponsor a vast number of programs throughout the year that benefit ALL Clermont students, including Enrichment Programs, School Field Trips, Classroom Instructional Supplies, New Technology, Assemblies, and more.  Please click on the "Tickets" tab in the link to purchase your pass to this event and let the good times roll!
