Read Across America Week - Book Mark Contest!
Deer Park will have a reading-themed book mark design contest for all grade levels. One winner per grade level.
- All entries should be 2 ½ inches wide by 8 ½ inches long.
- Students should include first and last name, grade and teacher’s name on the BACK side.
- Tip: Designs often look better when outlined in a thin black marker.
All entries are due by February 12th.
Pajama Day!
Deer Park will have a schoolwide PJ day on Wednesday, February 7th to celebrate all classes earning over $500 bucky bucks during the
second quarter of school.
Strings Concert!
Tuesday our talented Strings students gave a wonderful performance in the evening. Deer Park now has an amazing Bass section of 10 Basses!
SCA Dress Like Your Teacher Day!
Wednesday was dress like your teacher day, and teachers
dressed like their students!
 
Nominees Needed for Nominating Committee
Do you want to help find the next board members for the PTA? You are in luck, we are in need of 3-5 members to be on the nominating committee to find the next President, Vice President of Membership, and Secretary. If you are interested please email Pta.deerparkes@gmail.com. We will vote at our February 7th PTA meeting.

ARE YOU… READY FOR IT?
Join us for our annual Winter Dance Party with Silent Auction on February 9th from 6-8 PM at Deer Park! Dress up as your favorite musician or in your favorite band gear from any ERA! This is a free admission family event. Kids can’t be dropped off — a parent must be present. Adults will have the opportunity to bid on auction items during the Dance Party, and dress up too!
