Roadrunner Rundown

Principal Message

Dear Marshall Road Families,

When I was a child, my dad would shovel all around the neighborhood, clearing sidewalks, driveways, and cars.  It annoyed me because I was convinced it would be his fault if we didn’t get a snow day.  Alongside a career in education, similar vocal mannerism, etc., I've taken on his love of shoveling and clearing cars in the community.  Out in the quiet, cold, and snow, putting a dent into making everyone’s day easier.  In my neighborhood, a family put little snow penguins in front of many homes!  Snow Penguin.jpg

This week our Positivity Project focus is social awareness.  Considering those ways we can be aware of the needs of others.  Last week, I met with several members of our PTA board and volunteers spearheading Teacher Appreciation Week.  Their commitment and creativity are so appreciated.  It had me thinking about how many events are still coming and half of this school year is all but gone.  If you have never jumped in to help with one of our PTA events, please consider joining just one initiative as a volunteer this year.  Let’s all help to make the events come to life and to share the workload.  If everyone takes on a little, no one takes on a lot, or as is often the case, no one takes too much!

Have a great week!

Much peace.
