A Note from the Principal

Dear Rocky Run Community-

We are squarely in that fun part of the winter months where we never know what mother nature has in store for us (and how it will impact our school day)! I hope that everyone enjoyed the snow days on Tuesday and Friday. The weather forecasters are keeping us on the edge of our seats.

Regardless of the current weather patterns, the second quarter will officially end on Thursday, January 25. Please note that students will be released 2 hours early on that day. The following day (January 26) is a teacher workday. We will soon be officially halfway through the year! All students will receive updated schedules for the start of the third quarter on January 29. The semester break is a great opportunity to reflect on the previous months and set goals for the rest of the year. Spring and summer will be here before we know it!

As the semester turns, I hope to see each of you at the team coffees on January 31 and February 1. These community events will be an amazing opportunity to learn about everything going on at Rocky Run, as well as meet other members of the community. I hope to see you there.

As always, thank you for your continued partnership and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions. I look forward to seeing you at RRMS soon.

Sincerely,

Peter Kownacki
Principal
