Haycock Hello 1.15.24

today

Dear Haycock Families,

Thank you for the notes, posters, snacks, lunches, and kind words from our students and staff last week for Principal Appreciation Week.  Many thanks to the Haycock PTA for the gift cards and beautiful orchids.  We were humbled and honored by all the kindness and appreciation extended to us last week. It is our good fortune and privilege to be at Haycock serving our amazing students and this wonderful community.

We invite you to attend a Parent Coffee this week either virtually on Wednesday evening, Jan. 17 at 7:00 or  on in person on Thursday morning, Jan. 18 at 9:30.  See below for the link to join the virtual coffee and the topics we will talk about.  As always, there will be time for your questions.

Every grade level team is engaging in a planning day over the next few weeks.  Kindergarten kicked off things with their planning day last Thursday. These days provide teachers with time to plan together and to take a look at the new math standards that will be rolled out next year.  This time for teachers to collaborate, plan instruction, and learn together benefits all of our students.

We hope to see you at one of the Parent Coffees this week.

With appreciation for your partnership,

Liz Beaty, Principal embeaty@fcps.edu

Heather Boyd, AP  HABoyd@fcps.edu

Jody Delaney, AP  jmdelaney@fcps.edu
