Don’t go yet…

Bring on your inner science hero and volunteer!

Can you help with an experiment - or setup and registration? Each experiment station needs 1 lead volunteer and 1-2 helper volunteers.

Experiments range from measuring physical reaction time, using craft sticks to measure potential energy, playing with magnets, and visualizing how a bee transports pollen from one flower to the next.

Helper volunteers can be middle-school aged and up - and get volunteer hours!

Volunteer here!

PTA Board Positions Open

At the end of this school year, our Dranesville PTA president and several other board members will be stepping down, as they have reached their term limits. To ensure the Dranesville PTA continues to thrive and serve our community, we are seeking parents like you to step up and take on keyboard roles.

Currently we have openings for:

  • President
  • Communications Secretary
  • Treasurer

Our current board is committed to a smooth transition and is ready to offer the necessary support to set you up for success. But we need the active participation of new board members so that we can continue to support our community with events, scholarships, field trips and new software, as well as fostering strong connections between families, students and staff.

Your involvement is crucial, and we would be delighted to have you on board! Please email president@dranesvillepta.com with any questions, additional info, or to express your interest.
