Principal's Message

Hello Lake Anne Families,

Our dolphins are on the move this month! Many grade levels have been enjoying fun and exciting field trips. Thank you to all who support and chaperone our students!

Clear communication with families is a priority for our school. We also acknowledge that teachers work hard to plan and deliver quality instruction every day. With these two things in mind, we have made a change to our procedures regarding interims this year. Instead of the narrative interim families may have been used to receiving, teachers will reach out to families regarding student progress about midway through each quarter if there are changes in a child's performance. We believe this change will still allow families to receive important information regarding their student and help to balance teacher workload.

As a reminder, Monday, January 15 is a student and staff holiday in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Have a Wonderful Weekend,

Mrs. Jill Stewart, Principal

Dr. Brittany Rogers, Assistant Principal
