Dear Poplar Tree Families,

We want to wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year! We hope you had a chance to relax, recharge, and spend time with loved ones over the break.

This week we launched our PAWesome Hallway Behavior and PAWsitive Praise tickets. Classes/groups of students can earn a PAWesome Hallway Behavior ticket for following our schoolwide hallway expectations. Students can earn a PAWsitive Praise ticket for demonstrating a Portrait of a Graduate (POG) Global and Ethical Citizen attribute. Each Monday on the Good Morning Poplar Tree news show we feature a student from each house who has received a Pawsitive Praise! The colored house with the most Hallway Behavior tickets by the beginning of February will win a house dance party!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sue Andujar, Principal

Calling All Picture-Perfect Moments!

Let's make this year's yearbook truly special by including YOUR cherished moments! Whether it's a beaming smile during a classroom project, a heartwarming friendship captured on the playground, or any other delightful school-related memory, we want to feature it in our pages. Please share your favorite photos using THIS FORM by February 2, 2023, and let's create a yearbook that reflects the incredible experiences of our students.

Your snapshots will help make this yearbook a keepsake to treasure for years to come! 📸

Why PTA Support

Our PTA's fundraising efforts include giving the school grants for supplies. While most supplies are not big or flashy, they are greatly appreciated!

Thank you for participating in the PTA's fundraising efforts!

For the next several weeks, we'll be sharing how your support has benefited our students and staff!

camera

Every morning students start their day with the Good Morning Panther News Show. Most of the equipment they use in the studio has been paid for with PTA grants over several years. Last year the studio upgraded to a much needed new camera which helps make our news show even more engaging!
