FAFSA Information for Seniors and their Families

The FAFSA has opened for current seniors.  

Although the FAFSA form is available, there will be a soft opening, with the possibility of unannounced shut-downs of the site or extended wait times.  

Because of these possible issues, we are asking people who wish to attend one of our FAFSA completion events to pre-register at our website:

https://www.collegeaccessfairfax.org

Families are welcome at any of our events regardless of their home base school.   Please feel free to attend whichever event fits your family's schedule best.

Here is the list of completion events:

  • January 9, 2024     Annandale HS               6:00-8:30 PM
  • January 11, 2024   Mount Vernon HS          5:30-7:30 PM
  • January 16, 2024   Lake Braddock SS        6:00-8:00 PM
  • January 20, 2024   Justice HS                    10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon
  • January 22, 2024   Chantilly HS                  7:00-9:00 PM
  • January 23, 2024   West Potomac HS        6:00-8:00 PM
  • January 24, 2024   West Springfield HS     7:00-9:00 PM
  • January 25, 2024   Hayfield SS                   5:00-7:00 PM
  • January 27, 2024   Edison HS                    10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon
  • January 30, 2024   Falls Church HS           7:00-9:00 PM
  • February 1, 2024   Lewis HS                       5:00-7:30 PM
  • February 7, 2024   Westfield HS                 7:00-9:00 PM
  • February 8, 2024   South Lakes HS            6:00-8:00 PM
  • February 20, 2024  Annandale HS              3:30-6:30 PM

Each event has its own registration link.

 

While registration is not required, it will allow us to let you know if the site is down or experiencing extended delays.  If we have advanced notice, we will make every effort to inform you of problems or closures during our completion events. 

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do if the site is down.
