Dear DCC Community,
I hope that this message finds you all in good health and looking forward to the winter season! I am reaching out to provide you with some updates on the calendar of events for our dances this year.
As many of you know, we typically host our Valentine's Dance in February each year; however, this year the McLean Bible Church is again hosting their highly attended Night to Shine on the same date. Instead of hosting competing events, we are encouraging everyone to attend the Night to Shine (information is below) and we will now be hosting a new St. Patrick's Day Dance on Friday, March 16th - please mark your calendars! More details and information will be sent out closer to the date of our new St. Patrick's Day Dance.

McLean Bible Church Night to Shine
McLean Bible Church is hosting Night to Shine on Friday, February 9th, 2023 from 6-9pm!
Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs. We are blessed to be a part of this growing worldwide movement where thousands of people with special needs will be celebrated, given the royal treatment and reminded of how special they are. This evening includes dancing, food, photo booth, step & repeat photos, karaoke, limo rides, hair, make-up & shoe shine, parent hang out area and a special crowning ceremony where every guest will be crowned as kings and queens of the night. Please note: Parents/caregivers can drop their children off after going through registration or welcome to hang out in the parent area and be part of some key moments of the evening.
