LOOK What's Back at GBW:
Let Me Run
&
Girls on the Run
These clubs can happen at GBW thanks to volunteers like YOU! Both programs are help students grow both physically and socially. 3rd-6th grade students will run and complete lessons on things like why our words matter, the importance of friendships, and how to believe in ourselves. Both are national non-profits that provide coach training, curriculum, and materials needed for lessons! Girls on the Run is a 10 week, 2x a week commitment, starting the week of March 4th and ending mid-May. Let Me Run is a 7 week, 2x a week commitment, also in the spring, but exact dates to be determined.
From the coaches that we already have committed, Girls on the Run will be in the afternoons, after school until 5:30. Historically, Let Me Run’s GBW club has been in the morning, starting at 7:45 until school starts, but our committed coach is flexible so if you are interested in coaching, let us know what works for you!
Find out more about these clubs by heading to gotrnova.org and letmerun.org, and email Site Coordinator Mary Drum (mbdrum@fcps.edu) to indicate the club in which you are interested.

Smart watches that serve a dual purpose may be worn, but the phone features (texting, Internet viewing, and calls) are to be off when phone use is prohibited. Students are prohibited from using phones, tablets, and other mobile devices in restrooms and locker rooms, unless there is a medical necessity or emergency. Teachers may allow usage of cell phones for instructional activities when appropriate. Cell phones may be used on campus before and after school only."
