Full-Time Advanced Academics Referrals Due TOMORROW, December 15th, by 11:59 p.m.!
If you wish to refer your child in 2nd through 6th grade for full-time Advanced Academics Program (AAP) placement, don’t forget that you must complete the referral form and accompanying documentation and email it to Lane’s Advanced Academics Resource Teacher Linda Simon at lesimon@fcps.edu no later than at 11:59 p.m. TOMORROW – Friday, December 15th. This is a county deadline, and no referrals will be accepted after this time.
Sixth-grade families please note: The December 15th deadline also applies to rising 7th graders who would like to be considered for full-time AAP in middle school. Course selection will not take place until early 2024, but if you are interested in AAP next year, please submit the referral by the deadline.
Resources are available to help with completing the referral form.
All families submitting referrals: Please email Ms. Simon ahead of time to let her know that you will be submitting a referral so she can be on the lookout for it. You can also contact her with any questions before 4 p.m. tomorrow.
