Applications are now open for students who are interested and whose schedule allows. The deadline to be considered for 2nd semester is January 5, 2024. Interested students should reach out to Mr. Walker, school counselor, or Ms. Smith, Assistant Principal, with any questions they might have.

McLean High School will be holding a Curriculum Night for parents of the Class of 2028 (current 8th grade students) on Tuesday, January 9th at 6:00pm in the McLean High School Auditorium. This evening session aims to provide parents with information that will help their incoming 9th grade student with the transition to high school. Following the initial presentation, teachers from various departments will be available until 7:15pm to answer questions about 9th grade classes.

Langley High School Rising 9th Grade Curriculum Night - 1/9/2024 - 6:30pm

Rising 9th Grade Curriculum Night (in the auditorium) will be an opportunity to hear about the many options for Rising 9th grade students at LHS next year. This night will be paired with the rising 10-12 curriculum night (starting at 7pm), so families will have the option to check in on curriculum available in future years after the 9th grade presentation should they wish. More information regarding the course selection process, curriculum, and other important aspects of academic advising will be emailed in December.

Spring AAP Screening

Spring screening referrals for full time level-IV advanced academic placement are due no later than December 15, 2023 to Megan Huftalen. Spring screening is only available for 7th grade students.
