PTA Cardboard Creation Challenge
12/1-12/9
It's time to gather all of those mailing boxes that are plentiful this time of year, and design something amazing to share with our Mighty Red Bird Community. Have a parent or adult caregiver help with any cutting. Send a picture of your creation only (no humans in photo) to cardinalforestpta@gmail.com by the Saturday 12/9 deadline. Voting by CFES Community will begin on Monday, 12/11, and the winning designer will receive a $10 gift card. Creations will be shared on the CFES Friday News Show during school and PTA Social Media.

Ongoing Volunteer Support in the CFES Library!
Our wonderful librarian, Ms. Hawk, is in need of weekly and consistent volunteer support in the library, so that she can focus on teaching our children during Library Class. Tasks include reshelving books, and checking books in and out for our students. If you are interested in supporting her in the Library whenever your schedule permits, please reach out to her at mahawk@fcps.edu. Thank you!

Hello CFES families! Are you interested in our children playing on a shaded playground at school? If yes, please consider joining a small working group of parents led by interested Kindergarten Parent, Devina Shah, to help gather information between January-March toward making this a possibility!
