Dear School and Community Members,
I hope this letter finds you all in good health and spirits. It is with a mix of emotions that I share some significant news with you. After many years of dedicated service to our school system, I have accepted a new opportunity and will be transitioning into the role of Assistant Superintendent for the Department of School Improvement and Supports. While this change is bittersweet, as I bid farewell to my role as Principal at Bailey's Upper Elementary School and the incredible community we have built , I am also eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who have been a part of this incredible journey. To the outstanding teachers, whose dedication and passion have been the backbone of our success, I extend my heartfelt thanks. Your commitment to nurturing and educating our students has been nothing short of inspiring.
To the families who have collaborated, supported, and entrusted us with the education and well-being of your children, thank you for your unwavering support. Your partnership has been instrumental in creating a thriving learning environment at our school.
Finally, to the students, the very reason we dedicate ourselves to this noble profession – your enthusiasm, curiosity, and resilience have been a constant source of joy and motivation. It has been a privilege to witness your growth and development.
While I will undoubtedly miss the daily interactions and the unique spirit of BUpper, I am excited about the prospect of contributing to the broader educational landscape in my new role as Assistant Superintendent. I am humbled by this opportunity and committed to working closely with Region 2 to ensure a smooth transition and continued success for our students and educators. The Region 2 leadership team will work with the staff and the community to find the next principal for Bailey’s Upper Elementary. Ms. Megan Vroman, our Region 2 Assistant Superintendent, will communicate with you regarding the next steps.
As I embark on this new chapter, please know that the bonds forged at BUpper will always hold a special place in my heart. I am confident that the foundation we've built together will continue to thrive, and I look forward to witnessing the continued success and growth of our school system.
