Fall Appreciation Breakfast!

What: Fall Teacher Appreciation - Grab and Go Breakfast
How to Support: Volunteer to drop off food and/or set up breakfast.
When: Tomorrow, Friday, December 8th - 6:30-7:00am

FINAL DAYS: Honeybaked Hams Fundraiser!
- Purchase gift cards (e-gift cards or physical) in $10 increments up to $125 to purchase your holiday spread or as a gift!
- Use gift cards to purchase hams, sliced turkey, sides such as mac and cheese, green beans, rolls, etc online or at your local store
- 20% of sales goes to PTA - school supported events: 8th grade graduation, dance, movie night and teacher appreciations!
- Fundraiser is open through December 31st!!
- Consider donating additional gift card to HMS families in need & HMS food pantry for the holidays. E-gift cards can be gifted to president@hmspta.com and/or physical gift cards can be sent to the school c/o HMS PTA, 901 Locust Street, Herndon VA 20170

Amazon and Walmart Teacher Wishlist
The PTA sent a Google Survey to teachers in the beginning of the school year and received overwhelming feedback that teachers would like incentives (snacks, croc charms, fidgets, etc) to use in their classrooms. Other student engagement requests include games for advisory and a few flexible seating requests. Movie Night: Parent Volunteers Needed!
We would like to host a movie night for our students this January in hopes of providing a fun way to kick off the second half of the year!

Double Good Fundraiser Outcome
Thank you to everyone who purchased popcorn through our Double Good Fundraiser for HMS families for the holidays. $277 will go towards gifts for our families!
Another Double Good fundraiser will take place next week featuring some of our student leaders as fundraisers. Stay tuned!
