Winter Indoor Track & Field News

Bruin Track Fam! What a wonderful opening weekend of track! Just like that, we have two meets in the books with quite a few championship qualifiers, several great performances, and even more PRs (personal records). The first meet of the season is always an introduction to the season and an opportunity to test yourself and feel things out. This weekend sets a good tone for the rest of the year.

Friday at TJ vs. Robinson and South County - Girls finished 2^nd and boys finished 3rd

Again, we are off to a strong start! It only gets better from here as long as we continue to give everything. Our next competition will be The Bobcat Blizzard Invitational at Battlefield High School, on Saturday.

Middle School Sports

The 2nd official Middle School Sports Season, Outdoor Track and Field, is scheduled to start after Spring Break (April 3rd). Meets will be April 13 – May 11.

At this time, registration is closed but will be opening soon! If you are planning on registering your student, make sure to get a Sports Physical done (form below) and fill out an Emergency Care Card (ECC).

Tickets

• Regular Season Adult tickets are $5; student tickets are $5. Children ages 5 and under as well as senior citizens 60+ will be admitted free.
• Anyone who leaves must pay to re-enter.
• Purchase your tickets online to avoid the line @ http://tinyurl.com/braddocktickets
• Booster Passes are not accepted for post season games.

Seating, Parking and Entry

• Gates will open one hour prior to game start time.
• Parking is limited. Please park in a marked parking spot.
• Elementary and middle school students will not be permitted entry without an adult. 
• Fans can enter through the main gate at the top of the stairs or the side gate up the ramp by the lower turf field..

Backpacks, Bags & Other Outside Items

• Purses, diaper bags, and reasonably sized bags are permitted inside the stadium with adults. However, all bags may be subject to search and inspection.
• Students are not permitted to bring bags or backpacks into the stadium. 

Beverage Policy

• No outside food or drinks are permitted inside the stadium.

Smoking & Tobacco Use

• Smoking and the use of all tobacco products on any Fairfax County Public School campus is prohibited. This prohibition applies to all individuals while on any FCPS campus, including faculty, staff, students, administrators, contractors, and visitors. Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, snuff, pipes, and chewing tobacco are not permitted.
