Attendance During Thanksgiving Week

If you know your child will be missing full or partial days of school the week of November 20th, please call the attendance line. The attendance line is 703-319-2319. Please do not wait to make the school aware of any absences or early releases for Thanksgiving week

First Quarter Grades

  • Grades and report cards will be available for viewing Tuesday November 14th at 6:00AM

Madison Faculty Awards Program 2023-34

Is a teacher or staff member at Madison going above and beyond to make this year a great one?  Students, parents, community members, and staff are encouraged to nominate an OUTSTANDING MADISON HS EMPLOYEE for recognition in the FCPS Outstanding Employee Awards program! Nominate using this Google form link.  Nominations must be received by Friday, November 17th. 

 

Impact Aid: Action Needed

  • We need your assistance Warhawk families! We have 764 of 2100 forms completed. Forms are due by November 17. The Federal Impact Aid Survey is available electronically to all families through their SIS ParentVUE account. A completed survey is required for each school-age child in every household. Visit the FCPS website for directions and more information.

 

Senior Portraits - LAST CHANCE!

We have one final senior portrait session - November 20th & 28th. The attire for the school’s yearbook pose will be in the traditional Tuxedos and Drapes. Victor O’Neill will provide the Tuxedo and Drapes. In addition to the yearbook session we also offer sessions that include casual/personality portraits and cap and gown portraits. Madison Academic Awards

  • Students who received a 4.0 GPA for last school year 2022-2023 will be receiving an invite for our PTSA sponsored Academic Awards Ceremony. This event will take place during the school day and is for students only.
  • Thursday November 16th - Advisory period - Sophomore Awards
  • Monday November 20th - Advisory period - Junior and Senior Awards 

 

NOVA's Spring 2024 Early Online College (EOC) 

  • Registration is now open for the 12-week NOVA online courses for FCPS Juniors and Seniors, January 30 – April 22, 2024.
  • Courses are offered tuition-FREE but students may be required to pay for books or materials for certain courses. 
  • Registration deadline is Monday, January 8, 2024 at 5pm.
  • More details can be found on the EOC NOVA website

 

PSAT/NMSQT and SAT School Day Scores

  • PSAT scores were available starting on November 6 for students who tested on October 11th. Students will need to create a College Board account if they don’t already have one to access their scores. 
  • SAT School Day scores were available starting on November 1. Some students have not been able to access their scores because a second account was created with this test. They will need to call College Board to request their accounts be merged.
