Thanksgiving Lunch Schedule
Thanksgiving Luncheon
We will hold our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon on Wednesday, November 15. If you would like to join your child for lunch, we will be preselling tickets for $4.75 per adult meal. Order forms will be sent home in student folders on Wednesday this week and will also be available in the front office. See above for specific class lunch times.
Volunteers Needed
Parents are needed to help prepare & serve lunch trays during the Thanksgiving Luncheon. If you have a few minutes between 10:15 a.m. and 1 p.m., please sign-up for a time here.

Progress Reports Go Home on Tuesday
A paper copy of your child's first quarter Progress Report will go home in their Tuesday folder this week. You can also view Progress Reports online in ParentVue beginning Wednesday, November 15. As always, if you have questions, don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher.

Book Fair
The Hollin Meadows Book Fair began on Friday, Nov 10th and will continue through Thursday, Nov 16th. On Wednesday, Nov 8th, your child went home with a book fair schedule which lists the time that they would visit with their class and the after-school hours the book fair will be open. Also, the book fair will be open to families on Wednesday Nov 15th during the Thanksgiving Luncheon.

Return Your Federal Impact Aid Survey
FCPS is asking all families to fill out a Federal Impact Aid Survey. The form is available online in SIS ParentVUE. If you have not already filled out the form online, please be sure to return paper forms by Friday, November 17. The electronic form will continue to be available in SIS ParentVUE until January 2024.
Completing this form for each school-aged child in every household is important, because information from this survey results in an additional $3 million in grants each year from the U.S. Department of Education. These funds are used to support all Fairfax County public schools and centers.

Need to Register for ParentVUE?
Learn how to activate your SISParentVUE account, so you can easily submit your survey.
Technical support for using ParentVUE or completing the survey online is available by submitting a Parent Support Request ticket. Select SISParent in the Application dropdown menu and enter Federal Impact Aid Survey under Issue Description. Or, call the Parent Technology Help Desk at 833-921-3277 (833-921-FCPS).
