Deer Park Elementary School Community,
As we approach Thanksgiving, we want to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to all of you for your dedication and commitment to our students and our school.
We are thankful for our students, who come to school each day eager to learn, have fun, take risks, and grow. We are thankful for their curiosity, their creativity, and their resilience. We are thankful for the way they support each other and make our school community a welcoming, positive, safe, and inclusive place where all students have an opportunity to be heard and seen.
We are thankful for our teachers and staff, who are passionate about their work and committed to providing our students with the best possible education. They go above and beyond every day to create a positive learning environment where students can thrive and grow.
We are thankful for you, our parents, and guardians, who are our partners in education. We appreciate your ongoing support that impacts your children's learning at home and in the classroom, and we appreciate the important role all parents play in our school community.
During this Thanksgiving season, we encourage you to take some time to reflect on all the things you are grateful for, and to also reflect on all the learning to this point. Spend time with your loved ones, enjoy the delicious food, and give thanks for the many blessings in your life.
On behalf of the entire Deer Park Elementary School staff, we wish you all a happy, healthy, and peaceful Thanksgiving! Please remember that the school will be closed from Wednesday, November 22, 2023, through Friday, November 24, 2023, for the Thanksgiving break. We will reopen on Monday, November 27, 2023!
