Hey hey Dranesville fans! We’re just a few days away from the big Turkey Toss event on November 16th, but we need your help to make it a slam dunk success! Registration is still open, but we’re falling short on teams. Don’t let this event get “stuffed” – register today to keep the Turkey Toss alive!
Dranesville Turkey Toss, November 16th
Gather your team of two and register now for only $10! We've got a feathered frenzy of fun planned, but it won't happen without YOU.
Bring the family for board games, concessions, prizes, raffles, music, and to watch the competition! Registration is only necessary for teams competing!
What: A student and an adult partner (over 18) shoots 5 free throws each at an age-appropriate distance and height. DES Staff can also enter the competition! The team with the most points in each division wins a turkey!! Prizes will also be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place teams, and all registered teams will be entered into a drawing for door prizes.

6:00 p.m. Competition for grades PreK - 2nd

7:00 p.m. Competition for grades 3rd - 6th
Cost: $10/team. Spectators and board game area are free.

As the President of the Dranesville PTA, I've had the privilege of working alongside a dedicated board to create a positive impact for our students and staff. Our mission is to support every student, ensure equitable access to PTA events, and meet the needs of our school.
We've achieved so much in the past year, from hosting community events to providing scholarships and essential resources for the school.

However, at the end of this school year, me and several board members will step down due to term limits.
We're calling on YOU, our incredible parents, to step up and take on these vital board roles. We need a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary to ensure the future of the Dranesville PTA.
Even though we'll be exiting the board, we will remain connected to the school and provide guidance to the new board at any time. We're committed to a seamless transition and will share all the insights and advice you need to succeed.
