Calendar Reminders

2023-24 School Year Calendar

No Late Busses NEXT Monday, November 20th

Do to having it being a short week NEXT week, there will be NO LATE BUSSES on Monday, November 20th. Late busses will resume as normal the week of November 27th.


Thanksgiving Holiday

Schools and offices will be closed Wednesday, November 22, through Friday, November 24. Classes will resume on Monday, November 27. Learn more about the first Thanksgiving.

Native American Heritage Month

Native American

Native American Heritage Month is a time to celebrate rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native Americans. It is also a time to raise a general awareness about the unique challenges they have faced both historically and in the present, and the ways in which tribal citizens have worked to conquer these challenges.

SAT/PSAT School Day Scores Are Available for Families

Students who participated in the SAT School Day on Wednesday, October 11, can access their scores via their College Board accounts. Students who participated in the SAT on Thursday, October 26, will have access to scores on Thursday, November 16

A video tutorial for accessing and understanding SAT scores is available on the College Board website. Families can reach out to their student’s school SAT coordinator with questions regarding SAT School Day score reporting.

Digital PSAT Scores and National Merit Scholarship Information

Students who participated in the Digital PSAT on Wednesday, October 11, can access scores via the College Board BigFuture School App or their College Board accounts. A video tutorial for accessing and understanding Digital PSAT scores is available on the College Board website.

Eleventh grade students who participate in the PSAT may qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program and can find information on the National Merit Scholarship Corporation website. Families may reach out to their student’s school PSAT coordinator if they have questions regarding digital PSAT score reporting or the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Take a break from cooking Thanksgiving week and help us kick off fundraising for Middle School Musical Season by enjoying some Five Guys with friends! Five Guys on Burke Center Parkway, November 21st, 4pm-8pm only! 20% of all proceeds go directly to the RTC Boosters to help with theatre production support.

How to Access Free Resources from Tutor.com

FCPS students continue to have unlimited access to live, 24/7, one-on-one online tutoring services through Tutor.com at no cost to families. Student participation is optional and parents/guardians can opt their student(s) out of accessing the services. Detailed information and FAQs are available on the Tutor.com Online Tutoring Services webpage.

Students can access Tutor.com via a link in Schoology. Additional information about how to log in and access a tutor is provided to families via the following: Middle & High - How It Works. Questions not answered in the posted resources may be sent to OnlineTutoring@fcps.edu.

Seeking Judges for Robinson's Science and Engineering Fair

We are seeking parents/guardians/community members to help us judge projects at our annual Science and Engineering Fair!

This year's fair will be held after school on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 2:30-5pm in our Gold Cafeteria.

No experience necessary! We ask judges to arrive to Robinson at 2:30pm in order to prepare for the judging process, while judging will begin promptly at 3:00pm. Food will be served!

Donate New & Gently Used Sport Equipment - Leveling the Playing Field

The Robinson Athletic Booster Club is collecting gently used sports equipment.  All equipment will be donated to Leveling the Playing Field, a non-profit that distributes the gear to youth and communities in need, and expands access to youth sports.  The collection will take place on Monday, November 13th at 6 p.m. at the Fall Sports Awards Ceremony (Gold Cafeteria).  Everyone that donates will receive an extra raffle ticket and tax donation receipt.  Thank you for your support!
