Federal Impact Aid Survey: Now Online

TO DO

FCPS is asking all families to fill out a Federal Impact Aid Survey. To make it easier, the form is now available online in SIS ParentVUE

Completing this form for each school-aged child in every household is important because information from this survey results in an additional $3 million in grants each year from the U.S. Department of Education. These funds are used to support all Fairfax County public schools and centers.

Once logged in to SIS ParentVUE, click “Online Packets” in the top right corner. Then, select “Federal Impact Aid Survey.” Get more information.

Full-Time Services at Hayfield Elementary School

Lauren Keninitz, our Advanced Academic Resource Teacher, will be hosting family information sessions on November 6th to share more about the local full-time services Hayfield Elementary will offer starting next school year. This presentation will review the Advanced Academic Programs continuum of services, explain local full-time services, describe how local full-time services might look at Hayfield, and discuss a timeline for implementation.

This information session will be held twice on November 6th so families can attend the session most convenient for their schedules. The first session will be held from 12:00PM – 1:00 PM and the second will be from 5:30PM to 6:30PM. Both sessions will cover the same information and will be held virtually. Join using this Google Meet Link: https://meet.google.com/mrc-wuov-ijq. All families are welcome to attend!

It is also a time to raise a general awareness about the unique challenges they have faced both historically and in the present, and the ways in which tribal citizens have worked to conquer these challenges. Learn more about the heritage months, celebrations, and traditions celebrated in FCPS.
