Trunk or Treat
The PTA Sunshine Committee hosted a Hunt Valley Elementary Trunk or Treat on Friday, Oct. 27! The weather was perfect; the crowds were plentiful; and a good time was had by all. Thank you to Hunt Valley Swim Club for allowing us to use their parking lot and to everyone who made this possible. It was a blast!
Pyramid Challenge - Volunteers Needed
Registration for the Pyramid Challenge on Saturday Nov. 11 is closed, but volunteers are still needed! There are Hunt Valley specific slots, and then slots anyone can sign-up for. If you have any questions, please contact wellness@huntvalleypta.org
Candy Overload?
If you have a drawer full of candy like I do, please consider donating unwanted candy to Hunt Valley teachers and staff. Please drop off all donations in the PTA box outside the main school entrance.
Stock the Teacher’s Lounge
The PTA is once again looking for donations to keep the teacher’s lounge stocked with yummy treats and other requested items. We will keep this link updated throughout the year so make sure to come back to it often – and don’t be afraid to buy more of something if it’s already been purchased, especially snacks because they go fast!
Donations can be dropped off anytime and left in the teacher donation box by the main entrance.

Looking for a tutor?
Marwa Faryadi and Lily Brody are 11th grade honor roll students at West Springfield High School and Lake Braddock Secondary School and they have an online tutoring service called Two Girls Tutoring! They have been providing online tutoring to local K-9th grade students for more than three years and are looking for opportunities to offer tutoring services to Hunt Valley students.

Please note that this is not a school-sponsored or sanctioned activity. Two Girls Tutoring reached out to the Hunt Valley PTA and we are providing this as information for those interested in a great opportunity to get additional support for their student(s).
