Message from the PTA President
Hello November RCMS Family!
The first Tuesday of November is right around the corner and that means VOTING TIME! And a four day weekend.. for the kids at least.
It’s a big election year for FCPS as ALL the school board seats are up for election. Please make sure your voice is heard!
It’s easy to vote early and ensure you don’t miss Election Day (things can come up!)! There is a location at the North County Government Center in Reston, across the street from the library! Not all areas in Fairfax have this option, so we are really fortunate in our area!
It doesn’t matter where you are registered to vote in Fairfax, if you are in Reston and want to walk in and vote there, you can! Just bring your photo ID.
Here are the hours:
- Weekdays 1-7pm
- Saturday, November 4, between 9am-5pm
November 4 is the final day of early in-person voting.
Then the next opportunity is on Election Day, Nov 7, **at your assigned polling place only** between 6am - 7pm.
Exercise your right and privilege to vote!
