Fall Festival was a HUGE success!!

The GFES PTA wants to extend an enormous THANK YOU to all the students and families who attended this year’s Fall Festival! It was so wonderful to see everyone and we hope you had an amazing time!

A huge thank you to all of the AMAZING volunteers who helped set up, supervise games and activities, work the concessions table (especially working the cotton candy machine), and clean up. We could not have pulled off such a wonderful event without you! A special shout out to Tina McCaffery and Patrick Killoran, our Fall Festival co-chairs, who did a great job organizing this year’s event!

Additional thanks to the businesses that help support the Fall Festival: Pots & Plants, Smoking Know BBQ, Array Flowers, Thelo Greek, The Old Brogue, Chez Francois, Pio Pio, and Deli Italiano! And we hope you enjoyed the delicious food from the participating food trucks: Smoking Know BBQ and Roaming Coyote!

Thank you so much again!!

THANK YOU for the generous donations to our 2023 Winter Coat Drive!

By working together, we donated over 100 coats, hats and gloves to the Embry Rucker Shelter and the Hunter Mill Coat Closet! The winter clothing we collected will help keep children and adults in need in our community warm this winter. Thank you for the generous donations!

The drive was also supported by Mrs. Mizell and the 5th grade SCA students, Ms. Murphy, Ms. Shenouda, Ms. Botha and the student news team. Great job and thank you!

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Students can shop using cash, check (made payable to "GFES PTA"), or eWallet. eWallet gives students an easy, cashless way to shop in-person at the Book Fair or on Scholastic's online store. Learn more and setup an eWallet account HERE. When funding your eWallet, be sure to transfer any balance from past eWallets so those funds can be used during the Fair.

Although cash is accepted, we highly recommend that students use eWallet to avoid carrying and losing cash.

SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL

Want to help build your child’s classroom library? Please give to our Teacher Wish List Fund, which is used to purchase from our teachers' book wish lists. Funds will be equally distributed for any K-6 teachers who request books, and we suggest a donation of $5 per family.

Visit our Book Fair Homepage to preview books or shop online. Email questions to the Co-Chairs at bookfairgfes@gmail.com.

And remember – all purchases help Mrs. Botha enhance our school library, and additional profits support our PTA programs!

Donate Today! Roadrunner Giving Campaign

The PTA is asking our Roadrunner families to please consider donating to our ANNUAL Roadrunner Giving Campaign! A suggested $250 per family is ideal but no amount is too small. Direct donations are reinvested in our school! And donations are tax deductible. We have had many generous families donate already and we need the continued support so that we can keep assisting our school with the many programs and activities that the PTA supports.

If anyone - person, family, company - is interested in becoming a Corporate Sponsor, please click HERE for more information on how our school can benefit from your sponsorship as well as how the PTA can promote your business throughout the school year! We already have generous families and businesses that have donated and will be featured on our website and Facebook Page!
