Thank you Mrs. Buchan, patrols, and students for letting administration ride Bus 1 today to support National School Bus Safety Week!
Terra Centre Families,
FCPS is asking all families to fill out a Federal Impact Aid Survey. To make it easier, the form is now available online in SIS ParentVUE.
Completing this form for each school-aged child in every household is important because information from this survey results in an additional $3 million in grants each year from the U.S. Department of Education. These funds are used to support all Fairfax County public schools and centers.
Once logged in to SIS ParentVUE, click “Online Packets” in the top right corner. Then, select “Federal Impact Aid Survey.” Get more information.
Learn how to activate your SISParentVUE account, so you can easily submit your survey. Find out how to get technical support for ParentVUE.
Our PTA annual fundraiser, Raise Craze, is off to a great start! During this fundraiser, students ask friends and family for donations via the online Raise Craze platform, while "paying it forward" by serving others. It's a great way for us to teach our kids the importance of kindness and gratitude while raising much needed funds for things like field trips, teaching supplies, digital resources, and charging stations. Students will spend time serving, not selling!
Dates: October 13 - November 1

Monitors will be trained to support classroom teachers, cover recess for a classroom teacher a time or two a week and support in the cafeteria. Again, these are hourly paid positions. Please email our Assistant Principal, Ms. Lewis, at tmlewis@fcps.edu. The monitor position is needed between 8:15 and 3:30. There is flexibility within this time and days of the week.
