Dear Families,
I hope you are taking the time to enjoy this beautiful fall weather! There are many activities happening in the Lewis Pyramid. Don't miss out tonight at 7:00 pm the Varsity game: Justice High School at John R. Lewis High School. GO LEWIS!!! Next week we are having our first spirit week of the week and it will be a double celebration! We will be celebrating attendance week and digital citizenship week. Please see the flyers below for more details. Don't forget about our PTA meting on Tuesday and Principal coffee on Wednesday. Have a lovely weekend!

¡Espero que te estén tomando el tiempo para disfrutar de este hermoso clima otoñal! Hay muchas actividades que se realizan en la Pirámide de Lewis. No te pierdas esta noche a las 7:00 pm el juego Varsity: Justice High School en John R. Lewis High School. ¡VAMOS LEWIS!! La semana que viene tendremos nuestra primera semana de espíritu de la semana y será una doble celebración! Celebraremos la semana de la asistencia y la semana de la ciudadanía digital. News From the PTA
- Reminder, the first PTA meeting of the school year will be Tuesday, October 17th at 7:00 in the school cafeteria. Pizza will be served. See you there!
- The Crestwood Elementary Fall Festival is scheduled for Saturday, November 4th. There will be games and activity tables. If you have activity ideas or would like to volunteer, please email the PTA at crestwoodowlspta@gmail.com
- Make Crestwood Elementary shine bright by volunteering for the annual fall clean up! Come by the school grounds at any time between 9:00 and Noon on Saturday, October 28th. Bring rakes, gloves and shovels. This will be an outdoor event, so dress appropriately.
- Interested in taking an active role in the school's Get 2 Green program? The committee is in need of a PTA liaison to represent the PTA and attend quarterly meetings. The program's main goals are:
- Direct connections with science curriculum that leads to meaningful and engaging student-centered experiences
- Welcoming spaces that lead to collaboration for staff, students, and the community (ex. Fall Festival)
- Students, staff, and community wellness
- Volunteers are needed to assist in food package distribution at Crestwood Elementary on Fridays. You may have seen the table set up near the Crestwood rock during Friday dismissals. If you are interested, please contact crestwoodowlspta@gmail.com
