Stenwood Hive Happenings

Hive Happenings Newsletter

Dear Stenwood Families,

We had a busy week here at the Hive!  On Monday we celebrated our fabulous custodial team for National Custodian Appreciation Day!  You know how hard it is to keep your house clean, you can imagine how much work it is to keep clean with 550 children in it!

On Wednesday, we participated in National Walk and Roll to School Day!  It was so fun to see so many of our Stingers and their families participate!

As a reminder, Monday is a student holiday in honor or Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

Field Day - October 17th - Volunteers Needed

Field Day

Stenwood Field Day is a fun school activity organized by our PE teachers! Each class spends 2 hours rotating through approximately 10 different activity stations. Want to get involved? The PTA is helping to organize volunteers for both the morning session (3rd-6th) and afternoon session (K-2nd). Volunteers usually remain at a single station for the whole session – no special skills required!
