THANK YOU NFES CUSTODIANS!

Custodian Appreciation Day

Monday, October 2 was Custodian Appreciation Day. We are thankful for our custodial team at Newington Forest. Each day they show their dedication to cleaning and maintaining our building. Our custodial team was provided lunch by our PTA in celebration of all they do for NFES.

Global Citizens
  • Mrs. Pipitone's 3rd grade class showed how to be ethical and global citizens by helping to clean up the field at recess.
  • This week, in STEAM class our kindergartners used Keva planks to build items from the book, The Little Red Hen. Our 5th graders learned to be effective communicators while playing games.
  • Mrs. Thompson's 4th grade class made cookies in the shape of Virginia to show the 5 regions.
