Special Guest Day - Friday 10/6/23

The VES PTA is excited to celebrate Bring Your Special Guest to School Day. All students are invited to bring a guest (e.g., grandparent(s), aunt/uncle, family friend, guardian, caretaker, etc.) to join them for a morning of fun at VES.

Our PTA will be serving up a light breakfast (coffee and pastries), followed by staff and student presentations. Guests will also have the opportunity to walk students to their classrooms for a pop in tour and chat with classroom teachers.

On the morning of the event, we respectfully request that you park and enter the school by:

  • Parking in the parking lot of the Patrick Henry Library, and follow directions to the cafeteria entrance (Door Labeled #5) on the side of the school, OR
  • Parking in the parking lot directly outside the cafeteria entrance ((Door Labeled #5) on the side of the school - this parking lot holds approx. ten cars.  It can also be accessed by going through the Patrick Henry Library Parking Lot, OR
  • Using a kiss and ride option: drop your student and special guests off at the Patrick Henry Library Parking Lot. Please return at 8:45AM to pick up your special guests at the main entrance.

We ask that you NOT park and enter the school using our main entrance (unless your student or guest has a disability) so that teachers and other staff members do not lose their parking spots. Guests and/or students with disabilities may access the school using the main parking lot for drop off and pick up.

Please help us make this event extra special by filling out this RSVP form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe_tD3DgHE6PDhhuLBM0_CUqFrhbta0WArjwQLbp7fyonarrQ/viewform in full by Wednesday, 9/27/23 to RSVP for your student and their special guests.
