 West Springfield High School’s SGA Presents…
A Tropical Beach Bash!
TIME SENSITIVE INFO
MUST be purchased via MySchoolBucks BY THURSDAY, October 5, at 11:59pm. No tickets will be sold at the door or during lunches!
*Important Homecoming Dance Guest Information: Students may bring one non-WSHS guest. If bringing a non-WSHS guest, the student should purchase two dance tickets in MySchoolBucks, afterwhich, submit a completed Homecoming Dance Guest Form. The guest form contains a section that MUST be completed by an administrator at the guest student's school BEFORE being submitted. Incomplete guest forms will not be accepted and guests arriving without completed forms will not be allowed to enter the dance. Guest forms should be submitted to Room 2441 (Mr. Alukonis), Room 2114 (Ms. Halstead), or the Activities Office. All guests must enter the dance with a WSHS student and present photo ID upon entering.
Homecoming T-Shirts
Pre-ordered shirts can be picked up DURING ALL LUNCHES this week. T-shirts are available for purchase during all lunches for $10 till they run out.
Powerpuff Flag Football Games: TONIGHT!
When: Wednesday, October 4, at 7:30pm
Where: All games played in the Stadium
- Underclassmen - 9th vs. 10th @ 7:30pm
- Upperclasmen11th vs 12th @ 8:15pm
Bonus: Food Trucks (Mister Softee and Charr’d)
Homecoming Parade
When: Friday, October 6, at 4:30pm [updated time]
Where: The parade will begin by going left onto Carleigh Parkway from Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, then continue left onto Forrester Blvd, left onto Sherborn Lane, and right onto Grigsby Drive before crossing over Rolling Road and ending at West Springfield High School. Please join us along the parade route to see our marching band, class floats, homecoming court, fall sports, clubs, and more!
Homecoming Spirit Week
Thursday 10/5: Tourists and Beach Bums (Wear Hawaiian shirts, hats, glasses, etc.)
Friday 10/6: Sea of Colors (12th – blue, 11th – orange, 10th – white, 9th – grey)
Hallway Decorating Class Competition
When: Thursday, October 5, at 5:00pm
Where: Meet in the Sports Lobby. We invite all students to join their class effort in this annual competition!
Homecoming Pep Rally
When: Friday, October 6, during school
Where: Stadium
Students will attend during Learning Seminar 4 with their Advisory class.
Homecoming Tailgate
When: Friday, October 6, at 5:30pm
Where: WSHS Parking Lot
Free hot dogs and hamburgers available... while they last!
Homecoming Football Game vs. Robinson
When: Friday, October 6, at 7:00pm
Where: Stadium
Come cheer on the Spartans! Announcement of Homecoming Royalty at halftime!
*It’s an Orange Out! Purchase an orange homecoming t-shirt during all lunches October 2nd-6th!
