 Check out what is happening at Orange Hunt: We are so excited that we have had the opportunity to return to Hemlock. It is an awesome trust and teambuilding field trip. Here are so of our 5th graders working together and cheering each other on through the challenges. It was a great day had by all.
Orange Hunt Book Fair

In the Orange Hunt Library for students during the school day
Parents are welcome after school and 11/30 and 12/4 from 2:30-4:30.
There is also an Online book fair at Bookworm for parents and Students.
Proceeds help support the Orange Hunt Reading and Library, including the News Studio, and Reading Programs.

Pyramid Challenge 2023
West Springfield Pyramid Challenge - Mark Your Calendars!
We're thrilled to announce the return of the Pyramid Challenge on Saturday, November 11th. The challenge will be held at Irving Middle School! This year marks the 17th anniversary of this exhilarating race, designed to ignite a passion for cross country running among our K-6 students. The Pyramid Challenge isn't just about the race; it's about bringing our community together, showcasing the talents of our young runners, and fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie.

Truck or Treat
Orange Hunt Families,
You are invited to Trunk or Treat at West Springfield High School and inviting your students and staff to join us on October 21 at 5-6pm.
After Trunk or Treat in the upper parking lot, we will be hosting a short film down on the field for everyone to enjoy. We hope for a great turnout this year and we will see you there!

SIBSHOPS: An Exciting, In-person Workshop for Brothers and Sisters of Children with Special Needs!
The Sibshop workshops are for children in grades 2-6 enrolled in Fairfax County Public Schools who have siblings with special needs to:
- Meet other siblings in a relaxed setting.
- Celebrate the many contributions made by brothers and sisters of children with special needs.
- Share sibling experiences and receive peer support.
- Play games and have fun!
