Dear Families,
Happy Friday! Thank you for joining us last night for Back to School night. It was great to connect with so many parents and families. We will have more opportunities to connect at our first Parent Coffee on October 18 at 9:00 am in the cafeteria, as well as our Thanksgiving luncheon on November 15. Stay tuned for more information coming soon! On November 3, we are planning a special surprise for students who are here at school that day. They won't want to miss out!

¡Feliz viernes! Gracias por acompañarnos anoche para la noche de regreso a clases. Fue muy agradable ver a tantos padres y familias. Tendremos más oportunidades de conectarnos en nuestro primer café para padres el 18 de octubre a las 9:00 am en la cafetería, así como en nuestro almuerzo de Acción de Gracias el 15 de noviembre. ¡Estén atentos para obtener más información próximamente! El 3 de noviembre, estamos planificando una sorpresa especial para los estudiantes que esten aquí en la escuela ese día. ¡No querrán perdérselo!

Arrival and Dismissal
We look forward to welcoming our students everyday beginning at 9:00 am. We begin our day in the classroom at 9:15 am.
Driving to School:
If you are driving your child to school, Please use Kiss & Ride.
Walking to School:
If you are walking your child to school, please arrive between 8:55 am and 9:10 am. Please avoid parking on Hanover Avenue or in the kiss and ride lane. We invite you to stay by the tree and let your child walk to the building by themselves. If your child arrives after 9:15 am they will be marked late. Please go to the main office to sign them in.

- Our first PTA meeting will be 7:00 on October 17th at Crestwood Elementary.
- Children’s Consignment Sale this Saturday, September 30, from 8am—12pm at Grace Presbyterian Church, 7434 Bath Street, Springfield, VA .
- Come shop for gently used and like-new maternity and children’s items at GREAT prices! Baked goods will be available for purchase! Please note that $100 bills cannot be accepted.

- Volunteers are needed to assist in food package distribution at Crestwood Elementary on Fridays. You may have seen the table set up near the Crestwood rock during Friday dismissals. If you are interested, please contact crestwoodowlspta@gmail.com
