Dear McLean Parents,
McLean PTSA wants to use this opportunity to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year! McLean PTSA's (Parent, Teacher and Student Association) purpose is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children while promoting a culture togetherness and selflessness.
Last year, thanks to your generous support, we were able to raise $56,216, $44,292 out of which came from parents, guardians, and family friends. It was used to support all types of activities on campus. For example, about $20,000 was spent on classroom innovation grants and curriculum enhancement; $16,500 on hospitality events for teachers, counselors, and staff; about $4,500 on scholarship and last but not least, $7,000 on the nostalgic annual “Celebrate McLean” event.
The annual campaign for school year 2023-2024 has begun. Thanks to your gracious gift, we have raised $16,120 so far. We still need to raise another $35,000 to fund this year’s activities. Donations to McLean PTSA are tax exempted.
