FCPS welcomes our new and returning military families! This year, Blue Star Welcome Week takes place from Saturday, September 23 - Sunday, October 1, 2023. FCPS is committed to ensuring all of our military families feel a sense of belonging to the division and their school communities.

Blue Star Families and their partners will be hosting a variety of events throughout the National Capital Region to welcome military families. For more information about opportunities near you, please visit Blue Star Families’ list of upcoming events.

In conjunction with Blue Star Welcome Week, FCPS would like to take the opportunity to offer a warm welcome to our military-connected families.
