Hello Lake Anne Family,
We continue to have a wonderful start to the school year. Students are settling in to a routine and we are looking forward to the many wonderful things to come. We are excited to see so many students exploring a variety of opportunities at Lake Anne. Our dolphins have had the opportunity to sign up for safety patrols, band, strings, and chorus. Soon, we will also be encouraging participation in our eco-schools club and student ambassadors. We are excited for our students to explore their interests in a variety of ways and please continue to encourage them to take risks and join our various school activities.
On Friday, September 8, the PTA will host this school year's first Walk and Roll. Walk and roll is a fun way to build community and get in a little exercise at the start of your day! Our Lake Anne teachers and staff look forward to joining you at Walk and Roll on Hook Road next week!
We hope that everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend. We look forward to seeing students back in the building on Tuesday, September 5.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs. Jill Stewart, Principal
Dr. Brittany Rogers, Assistant Principal
