Unite & Excite and Friday Night Lights

LION NATION,

This Friday, August 25th, is UNITE & EXCITE which is the kickoff event for the year! The event is held in the field house parking lot starting at 4:30pm. Clubs, Music, Food, and Fun, and we start at 4:30pm. 

Following Unite & Excite is the HOME OPENER for the Varsity Football team. We encourage and invite everyone to come to the game and ROCK the BLUE as the LIONS take on  the Wakefield Warriors. Wear your BLUE and Kickoff is at 7pm!

Our Dance team, Marching Band and Color Guard will be performing at halftime, and trust me, they will definitely not disappoint you!

In an effort to provide an optimal game day experience for our fans and guests, below is information on tickets, entry, and general stadium guidelines. Please review this information so that you are familiar with our facility and procedures. 

Tickets

Adult and student tickets are $5. Children ages 5 and under as well as senior citizens will be admitted free. We encourage you to buy a LIONS PASS which will get you into all regular season games for the year! The cost is only $50. Click HERE to buy your LIONS PASS today! 

Seating and Entry

Gates will open at 6:00pm. Middle and Elementary School students will not be permitted entry without an adult. 

Backpacks, Bags & Other Outside Items

Students are NOT permitted to bring bags or backpacks into the stadium.

Noisemakers:

Whistles, Air Horns, similar noise makers are strictly prohibited! 

Food and Beverage Policy 

No outside food or drinks are permitted inside the stadium.

Re-Entry

No re-entry. Once you leave, you are not allowed back into the stadium.

Smoking & Tobacco Use

Smoking and the use of all tobacco products on any Fairfax County Public School campus is prohibited. This prohibition applies to all individuals while on any FCPS campus, including faculty, staff, students, administrators, contractors, and visitors. Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, snuff, pipes, and chewing tobacco are not permitted.

Sportsmanship

Fairfax HS students and parents, and community members are asked to demonstrate good citizenship, respect for all, and positive sportsmanship throughout the game tonight.  We cheer for Fairfax and not against our opponent. All cheers should be positive.
