A Message from Ms. Laxton, Fort Belvoir Upper Principal
Fort Belvoir Families,
Thank you for the amazing support this week! It was so nice to see families walking students to class on the first day and dropping off school supplies. Starting Monday, we are asking families to say good-bye to their children at the doors, allowing students to walk in and head directly to class/cafeteria. This will promote independence in our students and allow them to engage with their friends during arrival. If you need to drop off materials, please sign in at the office. If you need to talk with your child’s teacher, please contact them to schedule a conference, as they are expected to supervise children starting at 9:00.
Please remember to save the date of September 21st for Back-to-School Night. Details to come in the next weeks. Have a great weekend Dolphins!
