Message from Ms. Kearns

Hello Bruin Families!

We are off to a positive start to the 2023-24 school year. It has been a joy seeing the students fully back in the building. We invite you to join us for our first home football game this Friday against Colgan HS. Come out to support our football team and coaches, as well as our band, cheer team, and dance team.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Go Bruins!
Lindsey Kearns

Kiss-n-Ride Procedures

As you may have noticed, the number of families utilizing our morning kiss-n-ride lanes continues to increase. We ask for your help in keeping our kiss-n-ride process moving as smoothly as possible, by taking note of the following directions and requests:

• The primary location for drop off is entering from Burke Lake Road. Families entering from Burke Lake Road will need to stay in the far right lane and follow the direction of security personnel to either go through the blacktop to door 12 or continue around to doors 15 and 16.

• The secondary entrance for kiss-n-ride drop offs is from Lake Braddock Drive at Raintree Road. Students may be dropped off at Door 3. Please turn right when leaving campus to keep the traffic moving.

• Please pull up as far as possible when it is your turn to drop off at the school.

• Students should only exit cars on the right-hand side of the car directly next to the sidewalk.

• Your student should be prepared to exit the vehicle as quickly as possible with all their belongings.

• Please do not switch drivers in the kiss-n-ride lane.

• Please do not park or leave your car unattended.

• Please do not wait in your car with your student for the doors to open. Students can gather in front of door 1 to wait for 7:30 am.

• Please do not drop your student off anywhere else in the parking lot, to include pulling into other parking spaces. Our staff needs to quickly park in order to be prepared for students.

We appreciate your attention to these details and ask for your patience and understanding as we strive for a safe arrival at Lake Braddock.
