Greetings Glen Forest Families,
Tomorrow is the First Day of School! The staff is Glen Forest is very excited and ready for our Eagles to arrive. Parents, you may walk your children to their classrooms on the first day, although we ask you to make it brief so that we can begin our day. Thank you!
For the first week of school, there will be numerous staff members available to greet students and help them get to class. If your child does not know their teacher, don't worry! Staff will find out and ensure they arrive to the correct classroom. It has been helpful in the past if our younger students arrive with their name written down, either on paper or a sticker on their shirt.
9:08AM - Doors Open
4:05PM - Dismissal Begins
If your child will dismiss at Kiss N Ride, we encourage you to arrive prior to 4:05. The students will be staged in the cafe and will be ready to come outside when your car pulls up. If you did not pick up a tag to hang in your car, we will be distributing them throughout the first week of school. Always have this visible through your windshield to help the line move as quickly as possible.
If your child is a walker, please meet them at Door 4 in the back of the building.
If your child is a bus rider, please be patient the first week of school as the drivers and students get used to the routes and routines. All Pre-K and Kindergarten students must be greeted by an adult or they will be returned to the school for safety purposes. Thank you!
