The final week of the preseason has come to an end and fall seasons officially begin Monday afternoon. As you get ready for some Atoms Athletics, make sure that you get your Atoms Booster Pass and spirit wear! We can't wait to see Atom Nation out in full support this fall!

Atoms Athletics Recap
The final week of scrimmages are in the books and the Atoms start of their fall regular seasons next week! A quick recap from this last week as programs look forward to next week.
Atoms Golf had their match vs Hayfield cut short due to storms but tee it back up Thursday vs Justice.
Atoms Field Hockey came away with impressive scrimmages at Osbourn and St. Paul John Paul the Great. The team continues to work hard and improve as they prepare to start their defense of their district championship next Wednesday with their home opener vs Mclean.
Atoms Volleyball completed their second scrimmage vs Wakefield. The energy and grit this team brings to the court will be exciting to watch this fall. They get started with their home opener Thursday evening vs Falls Church.
Atoms Football hosted Herndon Thursday evening and the growth from the first scrimmage was evident and bring a positive outlook towards their season as they open up at home vs Marshall Friday evening.

Atoms Yard Signs
As we start the 2023-2024 school year, we aim to bring the community of Annandale closer together. One way we are doing that is showing how proud we are of our Atoms athletes and band members. Be on the lookout for a yard sign that represent where out Atoms live! When you see one make sure to show your support of the time and effort they are putting in to making the Annandale community proud!

Atoms Boosters Concession Stand Help
Attention Parents! Volunteers are needed to sell concessions at games throughout the year, starting with fall sports Football and Volleyball. We welcome any and all parents to volunteer but when parents of the particular sport work a game, a portion of concessions sales directly benefit that team. Concessions not your thing? We need drivers to pick up Chick-Fil-A or to drop the bags back off (slots are on the sign up). Or help out with parking control or spirit wear sales. If you are not able to help directly at home games, there are many ways you can get involved with the Atoms Athletics Boosters and we would love parents to come to meetings and learn how. Watch out for the Booster Blast and come to the next scheduled meeting, all are welcome! Thank you for your support for Atom’s Athletics!

Special Ask... Atoms After School Snack Bar
As many of you know, the Atoms Athletic Boosters has been able to open our concessions stand after school for your children to grab a bite to eat prior to heading to their activities. If your schedule allows, please consider volunteering 1 day a week or even just 1-2 days a month. The hours are 3:15-4:15. This is a rare benefit in Fairfax County that we are able to provide for our kids, but we can’t do it without parent help.
