Family Resource Night is today, August 16th!This is an opportunity to for families to get connected with resources available to support students and families throughout 23-24 school year.
Our third annual Family Resource Night is an opportunity to connect with each other and to get connected with resources to support your child and your family as we begin the 2023-2024 school year.
During this event, backpacks and school supplies will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Staff will be available to support families in submitting the Free and Reduced Meal application for the 2023-2024 school year.
Families will also have the opportunity to sign up for additional supports including: Weekend Backpack Meals, Thanksgiving Meal Baskets, and Angel Tree Holiday Gifts.
The following community organizations will be present at our Family Resource Night: Opportunity Neighborhoods Herndon, Neighborhood School Readiness Project, Child Care Assistance and Referral Program, Girl Scouts, and Northwest Federal Credit Union.
Last but not least, we hope that you will stop by to connect with our Family Liaison, Paulina Hidalgo and join our PTA.
Together, we will partner to make this an excellent year for all of our students and our Dranesville community!

Class placements will be emailed to families by Thursday, August 17th. We look forward to seeing you at the Back to School Party Thursday, August 17th and at Open House Friday, August 18th! |

Campus Survival School Supply Kits
School supplies that were ordered through our PTA will be available for pickup during Open House on Friday, August 18th from 10 am-12pm. School Supplies that were purchased and not picked up on Friday will be delivered to your child's classroom.
