Dear Spring Hill Families,
We have been busy getting the building and classrooms ready for students to return to school! We look forward to meeting our Kindergarten Panther Cubs on Friday for their playdate and Jump Start session.
We are looking for some classroom monitors to assist with monitoring students while students are working on a computerized reading program. If you would like to earn a little extra money and spend a few hours between 1pm-3pm in the afternoons at Spring Hill, please contact Boutia Pourhashemi at bpourhashemi@fcps.edu and apply online.
We are looking forward to seeing you all next week!
Sincerely,
Amy Briggs

The Department of Information Technology (DIT) and Office of Student Registration are excited to announce that parents can now update student information online using the Online Verification Update Packet (OVU). Parents can conveniently update phone numbers, emergency contacts, health conditions, and immunization dates for students in grades K-12. Accessible through SIS ParentVUE, the online update feature streamlines registration, improves efficiency, and enhances the digital experience for parents and staff.

As we finish up the 2022-23 school year, the most important thing you can do for your brain this summer is to KEEP READING! All Panthers are encouraged to fill out their Summer Reading “Shelfies” with anything they read this summer. All students and staff who hand one in will receive a prize in the fall! Please see the Spring Hill Summer Reading Website for more information on the shelfie, other summer reading programs (including the Fairfax County Public Library one that could earn you 2 free Nationals tickets), book lists, e-books, and other fun things to do. Students will need to be logged into their fcpsschools.net account to access the website. Hard copies of the “Shelfie” will be distributed next week. However, here is a link for your convenience (you must be sigend into your FCPS google account), We look forward to hearing about everything you read over the summer! Mrs. DeVylder
Tutor.com continues to be available to all students, at no cost, to continue summer learning. Visit the Summer Access Tutor.com webpage for more information on how to access the online service throughout the summer.
Students will continue to have access to the many programs available on the Spring Hill Student Links/Digital Resources page over the summer, including Reflex Math. Please be aware of times where intermittent interruptions may occur for updates and maintenance. In addition, student access to many of our FCPS programs will continue to be available over the summer. These include MyOn, and PebbleGo, as well as Clever programs such as Wixie, and ST Math. Students may make use of their fcpsschools.net Google accounts, including any content saved in their Google Drive as long as they remain a student in FCPS.
We highly encourage that you use Reflex Math routinely over the summer. This will help your student keep up their numeracy skills.
